SIMMS, BOLTON AND EL-AMIN INTRODUCED

This afternoon, at the PalaBarbuto Press Room, there was the first press conference for Aamir Simms, Rasir Bolton, and Ishmael El-Amin. Among the attendance were Head Coach Alessandro Magro and General Manager James Laughlin.

Aamir Simms’ statement:
“We’re really happy to be here and can’t wait to play our first game at the PalaBarbuto. The coach and all the staff are doing a great job. In the last game, we had a good individual performance, but as a team we still have plenty of room to improve. The coach told us to be more aggressive and move the ball more and, especially as we prepare for Saturday’s game.”

Rasir Bolton’s statement:
“After the game in Bologna, we realized we need to move the ball more, but it was our first game, and we’re still working on building chemistry. Virtus plays in the EuroLeague — they’re a top-level opponent — but we know what we’re capable of, so we’re focusing on these aspects to be ready for Saturday against Trieste. I can play any role the coach asks me to. I’ll do whatever it takes to help the team win, and I’m ready to play in any position.”

Ishmael El-Amin’s statement:
“Our team is definitely very offensive-minded, but we can certainly improve by moving the ball more and sharing the game much better. Mitrou-Long and Simms are key references for us because they already have experience here in Italy. They just need to keep being themselves while we continue to improve physically and in ball movement.”
