Napoli Basketball will play its third league game tomorrow, taking on Acqua San Bernardo Cantù away from home. The game will be played at the PalaDesio arena in Desio, with tip-off scheduled for 5:00 PM.
Coach Repesa’s team, currently top of the standings following its away win against Maxima Roma and its home victory over Reggio Emilia at the Alcott Arena, faces a tough challenge against Cantù. Their opponents are coming off a narrow defeat to Udine at the PalaDesio, losing in overtime. Coach Vitucci’s team boasts a talented roster featuring players with experience in the Italian league. Cantù’s player Savion Flagg is the former player facing his old team, having played for Napoli last season. The game will be officiated by Edoardo Gonella, Alessandro Perciavalle and Daniele Valleriani.
Statement by Francesco Cavaliere, Napoli Basketball Sporting Director
:
“We approach the game against Cantù with great humility and determination, fully aware that we will be facing a strong team made up of many talented players with experience in this league, led by one of the most experienced and highly regarded coaches in the competition.
We returned from our trip to Podgorica with humility, enthusiasm and determination. These values have allowed us to prepare as well as possible for this game, knowing that it presents numerous challenges. We will be playing in an arena with one of the best crowds in Italy, so it will be important to remain resilient and stay focused for all 40 minutes, implementing our game plan and limiting their strengths. I would like to express our gratitude and send a warm embrace, on behalf of everyone at the club, to the fans who travelled with us to Podgorica. We also wish to express our solidarity and affection following the unpleasant incident they experienced after the game.”
The game will be available to watch live on streaming on the LBA TV platform. Live updates will also be available on Napoli Basketball’s social media pages.
