Defeat for Guerri Napoli, who lost away to EA7 Milano 125-97 in the twenty-seventh round of Serie A played this afternoon. The Azzurri played the first quarter on equal, but then collapsed in the rest of the game.

EA7 responded with a counterbreak, led by Brooks, that put the home team ahead 18-16, with Caruso tying the score. Ricci and El Amin exchanged three-pointers. At the end of the quarter, Milan tried to extend the lead with Ellis and Bolmaro, but Mitrou-Long scored again from outside. The first quarter ended with Milan leading 29-27. The second quarter opened with a three-pointer from Flagg, and Mannion put his team back in front, extending the lead to seven with free throws from Guduric. EA7 Milano had a good run, with Mannion and Brooks taking a strong lead, and Bolmaro's free throws made it 50-37 at mid-quarter. The second half didn't change much, with Milan continuing to score consistently despite Guerri's attempts. The home team was unerring from long range with Shields and Bolmaro, and from deep with Leday and Nebo. The third quarter ended 100-61 with a three-pointer from Ricci at the buzzer. The match ends on 125-97.
Guerri will return to the field next Saturday, April 25th, at the Alcott Arena, against Dolomiti Energia Trentino at 7:30 pm
Coach Repesa:
"I expected this kind of performance from Milan, a proud reaction after the Euroleague. I asked the team to try to match their physicality, but unfortunately we're not at that level. The team tried, but some things can't change in a few days. We need to analyze this match and then focus on the next game against Trento."
