Another defeat for Guerri Napoli in the second phase of the IBSA Next Gen Cup, currently being played in Rimini and Santarcangelo di Romagna. Coach Emanuele Fiore’s team was beaten by Vanoli Basket Cremona with a final score of 99–91, at the end of a game that remained perfectly balanced until the third quarter, which ended tied at 76–76, but was once again decided in the final period by a 23–15 run in favor of Cremona.
Among the Azzurri, an outstanding performance by Sow stood out, as he scored an impressive 44 points. Esposito and Ferrara also made solid contributions, scoring 22 and 18 points respectively. Guerri Napoli will be back on the court tomorrow to face EA7 Emporio Armani Milano at 12:00 p.m., in the third game day of the IBSA Next Gen Cup.
