GUERRI NAPOLI - REYER VENEZIA. MAGRO: "WE HAVE STRONG MOTIVATION TO GET BACK TO WINNING"

Guerri Napoli is back on the court tomorrow to facing Umana Reyer Venezia in the nineteenth round of the Serie A. The match will be played at the Alcott Arena, starts at 4:00 PM. Guerri Group, already club's Title Sponsor, will be the match sponsor.

After the bye on the last day of the championship, Coach Magro's team faces a tough match against one of the big teams of the tournament. Reyer Venezia is third in the standings, with 24 points, 12 wins and 4 losses, and is coming off a double away win at Varese and Cantù. This week, Coach Spahjia's team also won in EuroCup, away at Manresa, 91-75, qualifying for the second round. Rossi, Paglialunga, and Dionisi will referee the match.

Many former players are in the game. Aamir Simms, from 2023 to 2025, played a key role with the Venetian team. Giovanni De Nicolao, currently playing for Reyer Venezia, was the Azzurri's captain in recent seasons. Jordan Parks, Alessandro Lever, and Giga Janelidze also play for Venice. In the first leg, played at Taliercio on December 21st, Reyer won 106-96.

Coach Alessandro Magro:
"We’re very pleased with the stretch of practices we had after the Tortona game. It was an important period that helped us integrate Leonardo Totè into our system. We’re excited to see on the court how effective the offensive and defensive adjustments we’ve worked on will be. We’re highly motivated to get back to winning at home against a team ahead of us in the standings, to stay in the playoff zone and to prepare in the best possible way for the Final Eight in mid-February."
