Guerri Napoli announces the signing of a two-year agreement with Andrej Jakimovski. The 201-centimeter forward, born in Kriva Palanka, North Macedonia, holds Italian nationality.
After a stint in the youth team of Reyer Venezia, he made his Italian debut with Torino in Serie A2 Championship in the 2019-2020 season, before beginning his NCAA career, playing with the Washington State Cougars from 2020 to 2024, averaging 9.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in his final season. In 2024-2025, he played with the Colorado Buffaloes, averaging 9.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in the tournament.
In his last season, 2025-2026, he returned to Italy to play with Dolomiti Energia Trentino, making his debut in the LBA and Eurocup. In the Italian top league, Jakimovski averaged 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds, earning Trento a playoff spot. In Europe, he had an excellent Eurocup performance, averaging 10.8 points and 6.1 rebounds, with a high of 30 points in an away win over Bourg en Bresse, the winner of the competition.
The new Guerri’s player also starred for North Macedonia. After a stint with the youth national teams, he made his senior team debut, playing in the European Championship and World Cup qualifiers.
