Guerri Napoli will face Bertram Tortona tomorrow in the seventeenth matchday of the Serie A Championship. The match will be played at the Alcott Arena, starting at 6:15 PM. Fruit Village, already the main sponsor of Napoli Basket, will be the match sponsor.
After the important win in Sassari, Coach Magro's team faces a strong match against Bertram, fifth in the standings with 18 points, 9 wins and 6 losses. Tortona , coached by Coach Mario Fioretti, is coming off two consecutive defeats, away to Brescia and the last one, at home, against EA7 Milano. The Azzurri are looking for a return to the win at the Alcott Arena, after a narrow defeat against EA7 in their last match in Fuorigrotta. In the first leg, played on November 2nd, Bertram defeated Guerri 87-76. Grigioni, Valzani, and Noci will referee the match.
Coach Alessandro Magro:
"After our last home game against Olimpia, we're facing another high-profile match. We're facing Tortona, who have shown significant way in the league, consistently beating lower-ranked teams and even managing to pick up points in Milan. They're a very deep team. Compared to the first leg, they've rediscovered Manjon and Strautins, adding even more talent. They have a very clear offensive and defensive identity and can be considered one of the league's top teams. Against them, we played one of our most uncertain games, with numerous mistakes and turnovers. We're eager to bounce back from that match. We know how important these two points are, especially in closing the gap. We want to compete and test ourselves against teams of this caliber, in front of our fans."
