Guerri Napoli announces the signing of Jackson Thomas White for the 2026-2027 season. Born in Australia in 1997, White is a 200 cm forward who spent last season with Mersin in the Turkish top league. Guerri's new player has won an NBA championship ring, as a member of the Denver Nuggets' 2022–23 NBA championship team.
After an initial stint with the Cairns Taipans, White joined to one of the NCAA’s most prestigious colleges—Duke—to play for the Blue Devils. He spent four seasons under legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, playing alongside teammates such as Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett. In the 2020-2021 season, he returned to Australia to play for Melbourne United, he helped the team win the NBL championship in his first seasonand, in 2021-2022, averaged 9.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. In 2022-2023, White moved to the United States and won a historic NBA title with the Denver Nuggets, averaging of 1.2 points and 1 rebound per game in 17 appearances.
That same season, he played in the G-League with the Grand Rapids Gold, averaging 19.6 points ,9.3 rebounds amd shooting 57% from the field. The following season, he gained further G-League experience with the South Bay Lakers (averaging 9.4 points and 6.3 rebounds) before returning to the NBA to play for the Memphis Grizzlies (averaging 1.5 points and 3 rebounds). In 2024-2025, he returned to the Australian top league—once again with Melbourne United—delivering an excellent season with averages of 13.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, while playing a key role in the playoffs. He later joined Bayern Munich in Germany's Basketball Bundesliga, in his first European experience , averaging 7 points and 4.7 rebounds. Last Season, he played in Turkey for Mersin BBGSK, finishing the season with averages of 10 points and 5.1 rebounds, while also competing in the Champions League, where he averaged 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
After progressing through the youth national teams—winning bronze at the 2019 Summer Universiade in Napoli— Jack White has been a regular member of the powerful Australian national team since 2021; with them, he played in the most recent World Cup and won the 2025 Asia Cup, defeating China in the final.
