Napoli Basket will play against Trapani for their third home game tomorrow in the midweek match of the sixth round of the Serie A championship. The match will be played at 8:45 PM at the Alcott Arena.
Napoli Basket, after two consecutive wins against Treviso and Reggio Emilia, was defeated last Sunday by Bertram Derthona Tortona, the current league leaders. Despite starting the league season with a four-point penalty, Trapani has lost only once in the five rounds played so far, away to Tortona, winning the other four against Brescia, Venezia, Cantù, and Trieste. Coached by Repesa, the team is also competing in the Champions League, where they have lost two and won one of their three games. The match will be refereed by Borgioni, Perciavalle, and Valleriani.
Coach Alessandro Magro:
"We're ready for the midweek match against Trapani, a top-level opponent. We absolutely must forget the match against Tortona; we're call to facing another defensive test against a team that loves to run, is talented, and knows how to score. They'll have Notae back, who, along with Ford, Alibegovic, Allen, and Petrucelli, are guard who can put up a lot of points. They're a deep team, led by a coach who needs no introduction of himselfes. We're playing at home in front of our fans, and we want to bounce back as quickly as possible. We'll need a great performance on both ends of the pitch. We'll try to slow down their play, while in attack we must try to limit turnovers and share the ball as much as possible to break down their defense."
