Napoli Basketball were defeated in the final, losing 100–74 to PAOK Thessaloniki and finishing in second place at the Pajetta Memorial, a tournament host at the PalaCarnera in Udine.
Coach Jasmin Repeša’s team, after defeating Reggio Emilia in the semifinal, lost to the Greek team in the final of the competition. PAOK will also be competing in the EuroCup this season. Sankare and Caruso did not take part in the game, as they were once again precautionarily rested. Quarter scores: 19–26, 44–50, 57–72.
