Napoli Women Basketball is taking shape as the club prepares to compete in the Italian Women's Serie A2 championship. Cristian Braidotti has been designed as the team's Head Coach.
Born in 1972 in Friuli region, Braidotti brings extensive coaching experience. He has worked as assistant coach in the Italian men's Serie A2 with Udine, as a head coach, and has also held managerial jobs, including Technical Director and Head of Youth Development. The new Napoli Women Basketball head coach spent last season as the head coach of Battipaglia in Italy's Women's Serie A1 and has also worked as assistant coach with several Italian national youth teams.
Sara Bocchetti, from Naples and former player who starred for Dike Napoli from 2011 to 2016, has been appointed as the club's Managing Director (General Director). Alessandro Di Fede, who previously worked as Club Manager and Sporting Director of the men's team, has been named General Manager of Napoli Women Basketball.
