Preparations continue for Napoli Women Basketball ahead of the upcoming season, which will see the new club make its debut in the Italian Women’s Serie A2 Championship. Coach Braidotti’s team completed its first week of training at the PalaCaravita in Cercola. Tomorrow, Saturday September 5, at 5:00 p.m., they will play their first scrimmage against Campobasso, a team competing in the Serie A1.
On Saturday, September 12, the Azzurre will face Salerno in a test game . On Wednesday, September 16, the same match will be played with the venues reversed. During the weekend of September 19–20, Napoli Women Basketball will take part in the tournament in Maddaloni, alongside the host team, Frascati — who will be Napoli’s opponents in Serie A2 — and Angri, who play in the Serie B Championship.
The preseason will conclude the following weekend, September 26–27, with the Campobasso tournament, where Napoli will face three Serie A1 teams: Campobasso, Roseto and Battipaglia.
The Championship will begin on October 4, with a home game against Umbertide.
