Guerri Napoli announces the signing of Australian player Nick Marshall until the end of the season.
Marshall, born in 1999 in Adelaide, is a 6-foot-4 winger who last season played for the Tasmania JackJumpers, a team in the NBL, Australia's premier league. The Australian is known for his defensive intensity, athleticism, and versatility on the perimeter. A physical forward capable of impacting on both ends of the floor, Marshall has built his reputation on energy, physicality, and the ability to defend on multiple positions.
After his NCAA experience with the Loyola Greyhounds, Marshall played for four seasons, from 2021 to 2025, with the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL, where, last season, he had his best season, averaging 4.8 points in 17 minutes of play while shooting over 40% from the field. In the second half of the 2025 season, he moved to New Zealand's top league, the Wellington Saints, averaging 19.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists with a rating of over 20 per game. His performances earned him the Most Outstanding Guard award and a spot in the NZNBL All-Star Five, confirming his growth as one of the competition's top guards.
This season, he returned to Australia with the Tasmania Jackjumpers, where he averaged 10.1 points and 5.2 rebounds, shooting 54% from the field. Guerri Napoli's newest player was named the Australian Championship's best defender and the League's Most Improved Player. Marshall also played for the powerful Australian national team during the World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers from 2022 to 2024. Marshall's arrival brings athleticism, defensive toughness, and versatility to Napoli's defense, as well as a competitive mentality developed in the professional leagues of Australia and New Zealand.
