PALLACANESTRO CANTU' - GUERRI NAPOLI, MAGRO: "WE ARE FOCUSED ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MATCH"

Guerri Napoli is back on the field tomorrow, facing Acqua San Bernardo Cantù in the twenty-second round of the Serie A championship. The match will be played at PalaDesio, starting at 5.30 PM.

The Azzurri, coming off a disappointing run of six consecutive defeats, face a crucial match against the Cantù, which sit fourteenth in the standings with 10 points, four fewer than Guerri, who are twelfth with 14. Coach De Raffaele's team is coming off an unlucky, photo-finish away defeat against Milan, while in their last home game they won comfortably against Dolomiti Energia Trento, 108-91.

Coach Magro will be able to count on Marshall's debut, having arrived this week and is fully registered to play in the PalaDesio match. Naz Mitrou Long, who is continuing his rehabilitation, and Lithuanian player Zemaitis, who suffered a mandibular fracture during the match against Virtus Bologna, will be out. In the first leg, played at the Alcott Arena on December 28th, Guerri won 98-86. Giovannetti, Pepponi, and Nicolini will referee the match.

Coach Alessandro Magro:
"We'll be playing on a very hot field, against a confident team that is performing well and came within a shot of winning the derby against Milan. It will be a match between two teams that need points in the standings. We're coming off a week in which we introduced a new player, Marshall, while Whaley is integrating into our style of play. We've had good practices in terms of both quality and intensity. We understand the importance of the match, but we'll need the right level of composure to put our preparations into action. It will require great discipline and energy, but above all, the desire to try and build something together."

Acqua San Bernardo Cantù - Guerri Napoli will be broadcast live on the LBA TV platform. Live updates will also be available on Guerri Napoli's social media pages.
