Napoli Basketball President Matt Rizzetta took part in the “Deutsche Bank Sports Investment Conference,” an international event focused on the intersection of sports, investment, and global growth, held in London last week. During the conference, President Rizzetta participated in the session “The Long Game: Institutional Capital,” which explored the role of institutional capital and long-term investment strategies in the global sports industry.
The event also featured leading figures from the international sports business community, including Avie Glazer, Co-Chairman of Manchester United and owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Chief Business Affairs Officer and member of the McLaren Racing Executive Team; and Luke Donald, professional golfer, former World No. 1, and European Ryder Cup Captain. Key topics included sports as a strategic asset class, the financial sustainability of sports organizations, emerging opportunities for institutional investors and family offices, as well as partnerships, sponsorships, media rights, and digital development.
