Tomorrow, September 26 at 8:00 p.m., Napoli Basket will take the court in Spain for a preseason matchup against Bàsquet Girona at the Pavelló Girona – Fontajau. Girona competes in the prestigious Liga ACB. This will be the final preseason test for Coach Alessandro Magro’s team ahead of the Serie A opener, scheduled for Monday, October 6, against defending Italian champions Virtus Bologna.

“We’re ready for our final preseason game here in Spain. It will be an important test for us. Girona is a team that plays at a very fast pace, shoots a lot from three, and is very disciplined defensively. After facing Bourg-en-Bresse in France, we now go up against another team with the tools to challenge us—and that’s exactly what we want at this stage before the season starts. We’ve had another good week of practice. We’re continuing to gradually integrate Naz Mitrou-Long, but more importantly, we’re working week by week to build chemistry between our players—both defensively and offensively. I expect a tough game, and I want to see our team respond and keep growing in the areas we’ve been focusing on in practice this week.”
