The 2026–27 season of Napoli Basketball will officially begin tomorrow. In recent days, the players have undergone their routine medical examinations with the club’s Head of Medical Staff, Beniamino Casillo, and completed their athletic tests at the Alcott Arena under the guidance of new Strength and Conditioning Coach Giustino Danesi, together with Davide Bocci and Claudio Maddaloni. Also present were General Manager James Laughlin, Sporting Director Francesco Cavaliere, and the Technical Staff, led by First Assistant Coach Dino Repesa, assisted by Davide Gabriele and Pablo Trovato.
The team will leave tomorrow for their training camp in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, where they will remain until September 4. During the preseason, Napoli Basketball will play three friendly games: on August 21 against Serbian side Spartak Subotica, on August 27 against Bosnian club Igokea, and on September 1 against Slovenian team Krka Novo Mesto. The team will then compete in the Memorial Pajetta in Udine on September 5 and 6, facing Pallacanestro Reggiana. The hosts, APU Udine, and PAOK Thessaloniki will also take part in the tournament.
