The Prefect of Reggio Emilia, Dr. Salvatore Angieri, with reference to the basketball game UNAHotels Reggiana vs. GuerrI Napoli, scheduled to take place at the “PalaBigi” next Sunday, May 3 at 5:00 PM, following Determination No. 19/2026 of the Committee for the Analysis of Safety at Sporting Events, and having acquired the opinion of the Chief of Police of Reggio Emilia, has issued a prefectural decree prohibiting the sale of tickets to residents of the Province of Naples, in view of the possible occurrence of conduct detrimental to public order and safety.
The adoption of the prefectural decree banning ticket sales, pursuant to Article 2 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security — as clarified by Prefect Angieri — is intended to ensure that the basketball game UNAHotels Reggiana vs. GuerrI Napoli and the football match Sassuolo vs. Milan, scheduled for May 3 at the “PalaBigi” and the “Mapei Stadium” in Reggio Emilia, can take place in a safe and secure environment.
