Napoli Basketball announces the signing of Jahmi'us Ramsey for the 2026–2027 season. Born in Arlington, Texas, in 2001, Ramsey is a 191 cm (6'3") shooting guard.
A product of Texas Tech University, he scored 15 points and 6 rebounds per game during the 2019–2020 NCAA season. He was selected by Sacramento Kings with the 43rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. In his rookie NBA season, he appeared in 15 games, averaging 3.5 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest. He later joined the Aqua Caliente Clippers in the NBA G League before moving to the Stockton Kings for the 2021–2022 season, where he scored 17.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. His strong performances in the G League earned him another opportunity in the NBA with Sacramento.
In the 2022–2023 season, Ramsey played another outstanding year in the G League with the Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 21.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He began the 2023–2024 season with the Toronto Raptors, scoring 6.7 points and 3.1 rebounds, before returning to the G League with the Raptors 905, where he averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. That season also earned him a call-up to the USA Select Team for the Continental Games qualifying tournament. In 2024–2025, Ramsey was once again a standout performer with the Oklahoma City Blue, averaging 20.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
The 2025–2026 campaign marked his first experience in European basketball, as he joined Pallacanestro Trieste in Italy's Serie A. Ramsey averaged 19.3 points per game, finishing as the league's leading scorer while helping Trieste reach the playoffs. He also made his Basketball Champions League debut, averaging 17.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. His excellent performances earned him another selection to the USA National Team for the FIBA AmeriCup, where he averaged 10.0 points per game.
