Serie A championship returns after the FIBA break. Guerri Napoli Basket will face APU Old Wild West Udine on the road tomorrow, for the tenth round of the first half of the season. The match will be played at 4:00 PM at PalaCarnera in Udine.
Coach Magro's team is coming off a home win at the Alcott Arena against Dinamo Sassari, their fourth win in the league, moving them up to eight points in the standings. APU Old Wild West Udine, which currently has four points, also earned a key away win against Varese before the break. The referees for the match will be Bartoli, Bettini, and Noce.
Coach Magro:
"We're preparing for another away match in Udine after the Fiba break. We've had 10 days to work on the details, despite not being at full roster. We're happy with the job we've done; only in the last two days have we all been able to train, but the team has responded positively to all the input from the coaching staff. A tough match awaits us, against a team that's deserve more than its current standings. They're a well-coached by Adriano Vertemati, very solid team, capable of playing very effectively on both sides of the court. They have a very disciplined defense, plenty of physically fit players, and retain the structure of the team that won last year's Serie A2 championship. We'll have to see how they react to Hickey's replacement, but they've brought in an important player, one I coached, like Christon, with great talent and leadership. It will be an important test for us, also to continue pursuing our dream of qualifying for the Final Eight. I'm very curious to see how the team reacts after the break."
APU Udine - Guerri Napoli match will be broadcast live on the LBATV platform and on Sky Sport Basket (channel 205). Live updates will also be available on Guerri Napoli's social media pages. We remind you that it will be possible to follow the Azzurri's entire Serie A championship, exclusively for the USA and Canada, on the "Napoli Basketball TV" YouTube channel.
