S.S. Napoli Basket is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful sports environment for all its members, particularly minors, and for anyone participating in the organization's activities.

In compliance with current regulatory provisions and federal directives, our organization has adopted a comprehensive Safeguarding policy for the prevention and fight against abuse, violence, harassment, and discrimination of any kind.​

Duties and Responsibilities of the Manager

The Safeguarding Officer has the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise the correct application of regulations for the prevention and fight against abuse, violence, and discrimination
  • Monitor the implementation and updating of organizational models and codes of conduct
  • Handle reports received in a timely, effective, and confidential manner
  • Ensure protection of whistleblowers
  • Promote training and awareness initiatives
  • Inform all members about prevention measures and procedures

Types of behavior to report

All behaviors that may constitute the following should be reported:

  • Physical, psychological, or sexual abuse
  • Violence of any nature
  • Harassment and intimidation
  • Discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, disability
  • Bullying and cyberbullying
  • Behavior harmful to human dignity
  • Violations of the organizational code of ethics


Reporting procedures

  1. Confidentiality: All reports are handled with the utmost confidentiality
  2. Protection: Whistleblowers are protected from potential retaliation
  3. Timeliness: Reports are handled as quickly as possible
  4. Impartiality: Every report is evaluated objectively
  5. Transparency: The handling process is clear and defined

  • Organizational Control Model compliant with current regulations
  • Code of Ethics that defines the organization's principles and values
  • Codes of Conduct specific to different categories of members
