S.S. Napoli Basket announces that it has signed a one-year deal with Ed Croswell. The American forward/center (6'11") was born in Philadelphia in 1999 and started his career in 2018 at La Salle Explorer, a college in Philadelphia. After two seasons, he moved to Providence Frias, a team at the University of Rhode Island, where he stayed for three years and had his best season in 2022-23 with 13.3 points. After two seasons, he transferred to Providence Friars, the University of Rhode Island team, where he remained for three years and had his best season in 2022-23 with 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in almost 29 minutes per game on average.
After his college experience, Ed Croswell moved to Europe for the first time, signing with Fenerbahce's second team for the 2023-2024 season, which plays in the Turkish B league with excellent percentages of 18.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 57.5% shooting. At the beginning of last season, he went to play in Frankfurt, Germany, but his experience there lasted only six games before he moved to Nevezis in Lithuania, where he finished the season playing 25 games with 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and a 71.9% shooting percentage.
