Another win for Guerri Napoli in the third and final game of the first stage of the IBSA Next Gen Cup, held in Verona and Villafranca di Verona. Coach Emanuele Fiore’s team defeated the Trapani Sharks 103–91 after a first quarter that stayed balanced, before Guerri Napoli took full control of the game.
Once again, Saccoccia and Sow delivered outstanding performances, scoring 39 and 30 points respectively. Esposito also made a strong contribution with 19 points. Guerri Napoli closes the first phase of the IBSA Next Gen Cup with a record of two wins — against Reggio Emilia and Trapani — and one loss to Varese. The second phase of the tournament is scheduled to take place in Rimini and Santarcangelo di Romagna from January 5–8, 2026.
