Guerri Napoli announces that it has reach an agreement with Zac Seljaas for the season 2026-2027. Seljaas, a 6'7" American forward, was born in 1997 in Bountiful, Utah.
He began his career at his hometown high school, playing in the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) with his father, Gary, coaching him. In 2015, he joined BYU (Brigham Young University), playing NCAA basketball for four seasons. He finished his college career averaging 6.6 points and 4 rebounds in his senior year.
In the 2020-21 season, he began his pro career in Europe in Slovakia with BC Prievidza, but, due to an injury, he played only 5 games (averaging 13.4 points). In 2021-22, after returning to the US, he signed with Georgian BC Vera, impressing with a season of 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. In 2022, he moved to Germany, playing in the second division with the Tigers Tübingen, achieving promotion to the Bundesliga with averages of 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. In the 2023-24 season, he moved to Würzburg, where he played in two major championships, reaching the BBL semifinals in both. In his second season, he was promoted to captain and made his BCL debut, averaging 17.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 10 games.
Last season, he played in France with ASVEL Villeurbanne, also making his Euroleague debut. His averages in the league were good, averaging 7.3 points per game and 3.1 rebounds, while in the Euroleague, he averaged 6.7 points per game and 3 rebounds.
