The new season is just around the corner for Napoli Basketball. The team will officially report on August 18 for the traditional medical checks and athletic testing. From August 24 to 30, the Azzurri will head to Campobasso for preseason training camp to kick off preparations for the upcoming season.
The first test of the season is set for August 30, with a friendly match against Avellino Basket at the PalaDelMauro arena. On September 6–7, Coach Magro’s squad will travel to Lucca for the prestigious Trofeo Carlo Lovari, facing elite competition including Virtus Bologna, Partizan Belgrade, and Libertas Livorno.
On September 13, the team will take the court once again in a preseason game against Tezenis Verona at the Pala AGSM AIM. Napoli will then close out preseason with a pair of international road games:
September 20 vs. JL Bourg-en-Bresse (France, Pro A)
September 26 vs. Girona (Spain, Liga ACB)
