Napoli Basketball is pleased to announce the signing of American forward Savion Flagg to a one-year deal. The 6’7” wing was born on May 26, 1999, in Alvin, Texas. Flagg played four seasons at Texas A&M (2017–2021) before transferring to Sam Houston State for his final year of college eligibility. There, he averaged 18.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists across 32 games.
In 2022, Flagg began his professional career in Europe, signing with Lavrio in Greece. Over 21 league appearances, he posted 14.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. In the summer of 2023, he joined the Phoenix Suns’ NBA Summer League roster. He began the 2023–24 season in Germany with Telekom Baskets Bonn, where he averaged 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in the BBL. He also helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League, putting up 7.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 15 games.
Flagg most recently played in Lithuania with Rytas Vilnius, helping the team reach the national league finals. He averaged 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in domestic play, and added 7.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists across 12 BCL appearances.
